Upcoming Game of Thrones RPG

In October, rumors about the development and release of upcoming Game of Thrones RPG.

Game of Thrones RPG has been created alongside its author. The game followed the same plot as the ones you can see on the book and on the TV series. It dealt with the present mythology. There are two main characters in the game. Mors Westfold is a member of the Night’s Watch on the Wall while Alester Sarwyck is a Red Priest. Though these are the leading roles of the game, players will encounter many familiar characters from the book and TV series. You can also expect to come across unpopular characters.

Cyanide Studios is the one responsible for game development. It has already started developing the game for several years now but it experienced major issues in getting actors from the TV series to provide voice to the characters. There are instances that Cyanide Studios is left with no choice but to use a different voice talent for a character, which might contribute to the irregularity of the audio.

Moreover, some locations may seem different from the one seen in the TV series because the game was developed prior to it. Yet, this is likely to be a minor setback during its release because the storyline is so strong and relatable.
The two trailers for the Game of Thrones RPG are proof that it will really get a lot of gamers fastened to it. The first trailer shows the “Mass Effect” third-person style while the second trailer displayed the reasonable voice work. With these trailers, the expectations for Game of Thrones RPG are certainly heightened.

Game of Thrones RPG is expected to be released on the first half of 2012. It will be made available for PC, Xbox 360, and PS3.
