A Review Of Mario Party 9

Mario party 9 review

Everybody loves Mario, also his brother Luigi. And who wouldn’t love them, especially Mario, who is the most famous video game character that ever existed since the beginning of video games. Though a lot of characters have come around and made an appeal, particularly into children and some adolescents, it could never be denied that Mario, until now, is wanted and loved by many.

Many versions of the video game Mario have been released; and now, with Mario Party 9 created by Nintendo for Wii video game console. So how does it differ among other versions of Mario?

Mario Party 9 is played with the goal of collecting stars in each round, which is also the basis of the scores that will be tallied in every end of the round. You can earn these stars once you beat an opponent, and some just because of luck- which also the main reason why you often lose the game. You lose a star once you landed on a wrong space, or once your opponent landed on the right space.

Basically, the mini-games under Mario Party 9 uses pointer-based controls along with the orientation of the Wii remote, just like an NES controller. Jumping off to its graphics, undeniably, it added some glamour to the now streamlined game boards, and all four (4) players travel together on the same path.

Mario Party 9 also added a so-called “party bus”- a new game strategy that allows you to collect specialized dice blocks that you could use in moving to respective distances. And the most outstanding feature Mario Party 9 has as compared with the older versions, it allows you to have more than two players. All you have to do is turn off the computer-controlled opponents, and there you go, play with your friends as much as you want. But then, if you want to play alone, then, simply turn on the computer-controlled opponents and enjoy Mario Party 9 until you finally beat all the opponents up to the last round.
